I love that I can hand a workbook to one of my older kids and know they can work independently while I focus on teaching the younger ones. The daily lessons are short but effective, which keeps my children engaged and reduces burnout for both students and mom!
Affordable
Another thing I appreciate is how affordable the curriculum is. Many of the books are reusable or come in bundle deals, which makes it budget-friendly for big families. You can also purchase every book in PDF form, which means you can reuse it over and over again, just by printing at home. This option has saved me soooo much money over the years.
Several years ago, I invested in a high quality printer (this is the one I have and love!). Because I have lots of kids, I’ve also purchased every level of almost everything! Each summer, I print off the next level of Language Lessons for a Living Education or Math Lessons for a Living Education for just a fraction of the cost of buying a new workbook. It does take a bit of time, but the savings I get is worth it.
Gentle
Masterbooks curriculum is so gentle. And the approach is not overly rigorous or time-consuming, which means my children don’t feel overwhelmed and learning stays enjoyable. With so many kids to teach and help, my days can get really busy and it can be difficult to fit everything in. With Masterbooks, I know that my kids are learning, but their work is not overwhelming. This allows them to work independently and gives me time to help everyone.
Ultimately, MasterBooks is the perfect Christian homeschool curriculum and it has helped bring peace, joy, and purpose to our homeschool days. It equips me to disciple my children while meeting their educational needs—and that’s exactly what I prayed for.
